Structural safety, reliability, risk, and resilience

IASSAR

International Association for Structural Safety and Reliability

Overview

A global forum for reliability-centered engineering.

The International Association for Structural Safety and Reliability promotes the study, research, and applications of scientific principles of safety, risk and reliability in the analysis, design, construction, maintenance and operations of structures and other engineering systems. This mission is accomplished primarily through the organization of the International Conference on Structural Safety and Reliability (ICOSSAR) at approximately four-year intervals. IASSAR also encourages a wide range of activities promoting the study and applications of scientific principles and concepts of safety, risk, and reliability in engineering and beyond.

The association supports scientific exchange through its international conference series, technical committees, awards, and shared records for researchers working across infrastructure reliability and risk.
